rklawson.com is Rich Lawson's personal website and will focus on web development, technology, and gadgets. It is built using Drupal 7 and features a custom-built theme that leverages the 960 Grid System to create a 16-column grid layout. Unfortunately, this sort of layout is not ideal for mobile devices, so a new responsively-designed theme is in development. It will have at least three formats (desktop, tablet, and smartphone) and will utilize jQuery Mobile for touch optimizations for mobile devices.
More information about the site will be posted here as new features are added. One of the purposes of this site is to examine trends and standards in website development and explain how they are put to use here.
